We’re seeking an engaging educator to deliver Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) to a varied student cohort including TAFE teachers, secondary school teachers, and members of the general public.
You will be employed by one of Melbourne’s leading TAFEs, delivering training to over 20,000 students per year. This reputable organisation is redefining vocational training in terms of quality and student outcomes.
The Setup
- 1:00pm – 9:00pm working hours with 6:00pm – 9:00pm online delivery
- Blend of work from home and on-campus delivery, assessing, and preparation
- 4 days delivery (full-time) or 2 days delivery (0.4 EFT)
- School holidays are work-from-home for the duration
What You’ll Do
- Deliver, design, and develop learning programs and flexible learning strategies.
- Contribute to the development of resources and programs to generate authentic learning experiences.
- Contribute to program evaluation.
- Contribute to the design, development, and validation of assessment tools, and/or modify existing ones to suit client needs and specified contexts.
- Plan and assess student learning and competence across contemporary VET settings using a range of methods to ensure validity and reliability in assessment decisions.
- Comply with national VET quality standards and relevant legislation.
- Provide accurate pre-course advice to students and assist with student selection and induction.
- Use current training packages, accredited courses, supporting tools, and resources to support training and assessment practices.
