Are you a learning designer who enjoys building high-quality programs that people actually want to complete?

This organisation is the leading professional body in its sector and delivers accredited and non-accredited professional development programs to industry members across Queensland. Their learning function is growing, and they are looking for an Instructional Designer who takes pride in producing clear, engaging, well-structured learning.

You will work in a modern, well-resourced office in Cannon Hill as part of a collaborative professional development team, designing courses across face-to-face, virtual, blended and eLearning formats.

The role:
• Full-time permanent position based in Cannon Hill
• Hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days WFH after probation)
• Salary $100,000 + super
• Design and develop accredited and non-accredited learning programs
• Create learner guides, facilitator guides, assessments and digital content
• Build and maintain courses in the LMS
• Work with subject matter experts to turn technical knowledge into engaging learning
• Support development of learning pathways, competency frameworks and CPD programs
• Review and improve existing training materials
• Ensure learning products are clear, practical and professionally presented
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the learning portfolio

What we’re looking for:
• Experience as an Instructional Designer, Learning Designer or Learning Developer
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles
• Experience designing training, CPD or professional development programs
• Experience creating learning resources, assessments and course materials
• Confidence working with SMEs and internal stakeholders
• Experience with LMS platforms and eLearning tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• VET / RTO / professional education experience is highly regarded
