Are you a STEM teacher with a passion for technology?
Ready to teach something students are genuinely excited about?
We’re seeking an engaging educator to deliver Certificate III Aviation (Remote Pilot – VLOS) training to the next generation of drone pilots in one of Australia’s fastest-growing industries.
We’ll support you to gain the Certificate III in Aviation as you go. No drone experience necessary if you are a VIT-registered STEM teacher.
This is a delivery-only role — no heavy assessment load. Just great teaching.
The Setup
- 1:00pm – 4:30pm teaching (afternoons only)
- Morning prep and marking from home
- 1 day (0.2 EFT) or 2 days (0.4 EFT)
- Must be available Wednesdays
Locations:
- Knoxfield – Wednesdays
- Bundoora – Tuesday or Thursday (if working 2 days)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging theory and practical drone training
- Teach aviation fundamentals aligned to CASA standards
- Inspire students through applied, hands-on STEM learning
- Work with high-quality, ready-made teaching materials
All lesson plans and resources are supplied.
Who This Is Perfect For

- A VIT-registered STEM teacher
- A VETiS educator
- A VET trainer with a TAE

Requirements
- Certificate IV in TAE or VIT Registration
- Strong classroom delivery skills
- Wednesday availability
Regarded as a Bonus (Not Essential)
- CASA RePL
- Certificate III in Aviation
- VET/VETiS experience
