Our client is a highly respected national organisation with a long-standing reputation in adult education quality assurance, compliance, and program governance.

For decades, they have worked alongside government departments, TAFEs, RTOs, and community providers to support quality outcomes across large-scale federally funded education programs, including AMEP and SEE. They are recognised as a trusted sector partner with significant national influence and a strong reputation for quality and integrity.

Due to continued growth and national program requirements, they are now seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join their senior leadership team.

About the Role

This is a rare fully remote national leadership opportunity within Australia’s adult education sector.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead quality assurance delivery across major government-funded programs, with responsibility for QA methodology, moderation, appeals, reporting oversight, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on QA expertise and would suit someone with deep experience across AMEP, SEE, foundation skills, adult literacy, TESOL, or government-funded education programs.

Melbourne is preferred, however strong candidates based anywhere in Australia will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead national QA operations across AMEP and SEE programs

  • Manage and mentor QA assessors, verifiers and moderators

  • Oversee moderation, appeals and quality review processes

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and QA methodology

  • Contribute to national reporting and consulting activities

  • Engage with senior government and sector stakeholders

  • Support quality outcomes across distributed provider networks

Who Should Apply

This role is best suited to professionals with significant experience in:

  • AMEP or SEE quality assurance

  • Adult literacy and foundation skills leadership

  • Contract management and compliance

  • TESOL or academic leadership

  • Government-funded education programs

You will bring:

  • Strong experience leading QA, moderation, compliance or program delivery teams

  • Deep understanding of ACSF and DLSF frameworks

  • Experience with validation, moderation, appeals or audit processes

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability

  • The ability to lead distributed remote teams effectively

Essential Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification in TESOL, adult literacy or adult education

  • TAE40116 / TAE40122 or equivalent

  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check
