Christian Independent Schools (Melbourne SE & Bayside)
Bright Spark Recruitment is seeking Casual Relief and Fixed-Term/Ongoing Teachers for 2026 on behalf of several Christian Independent schools in Melbourne’s south-east and bayside regions. These roles suit educators who are passionate about delivering high-quality, Christ-centred education within supportive, values-driven communities.

Subject Areas (Expressions of Interest)
For Fixed Term/Ongoing roles, we welcome EOIs across all learning areas, with priority interest in:
- Year 12: Specialist Mathematics; Mathematical Methods
- Years 7–10: Science; Mathematics; English
- Other Areas: Vocational Major; Digital Technology; Design Technology
For Casual Roles we are seeking expressions of interest from generalist VIT-qualified teachers to work within the Christian independent school sector.
We Are Seeking Educators Who:
- Foster engaging, inclusive and innovative learning environments
- Inspire students through energetic, compassionate teaching
- Contribute to a collaborative staff culture committed to continuous improvement
- Model and support the Christian ethos of the school
You Bring:
- VIT registration (full or provisional) essential; current CRTs welcome
- Demonstrated alignment with and support for Christian education
- Strong subject knowledge and contemporary pedagogy for Years 7–12
- Excellent classroom management, communication and teamwork
- A child-safety mindset and familiarity with the Victorian Child Safe Standards
- (Desirable) Current First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma training; experience with evidence-informed practice and data-driven differentiation
