Bright Spark Recruitment is working closely with TAFE to recruit experienced trades professionals ready to transition into teaching roles in Melbourne.

Our client is seeking a motivated and driven individual with a strong commitment to providing quality training in a supportive and professional manner, with an immediate start.

Teaching Roles Available In:

• Plumbing – Melbourne South Eastern Suburbs
• Plumbing – Melbourne and Northern Western Suburbs

With a well-established student base and reputation, this RTO delivers workplace and classroom-based training. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to engage a Trainer to deliver the Certificate III in Plumbing.

You may be an experienced trainer/assessor or a domestic or commercial Plumber looking to transition into a training career, helping to develop apprentices in a trade college environment in Melbourne.

As a teacher of Plumbing, you will provide your vocational expertise across all aspects of delivery, planning and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for learners, their employers, and the broader community.

Your Key Accountabilities Will Be To:

• Plan education practices and delivery sessions that effectively engage learners
• Develop and deliver teaching sessions using innovative methods and technology (including Moodle)
• Design and develop high-quality teaching and learning resources in varied formats
• Ensure resources meet regulatory standards, training packages, and requirements
• Establish and maintain a positive learning environment encouraging learner responsibility
• Engage with employers and industry to align content with current needs
• Support blended learning, offsite delivery, and mobile technologies to meet learner needs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A current Victorian Plumbing Licence
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in plumbing
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or equivalent), or be willing to obtain it
