A top-tier peak body in the construction sector is looking for a Senior Insights Data Analyst. In this role, you’ll lead high-value analytics projects that shape industry and workforce planning across Queensland. You’ll join a professional, supportive workplace with a hybrid work model (two work-from-home days per week after probation) and a modern office centrally located in Milton that’s easy to access by public transport or car.

What you’ll do

• Lead advanced analysis of construction and workforce datasets
• Build statistical and econometric models to inform strategic decision making
• Deliver clear insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Work in Azure and Databricks environments (desirable)
• Apply Python, R, and SQL skills to complex quantitative projects

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience in quantitative analysis, modelling, or applied economics/statistics
• Postgraduate qualification in economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent high-level experience)
• Strong track record with large datasets, ideally in construction or workforce planning
• Demonstrated capability in Python and/or R, SQL, and statistical modelling
• Experience presenting complex insights to varied audiences
• Knowledge of the VET sector (desirable, not essential)
