Expressions of Interest – 2026 Teaching Roles
Christian Independent Schools (Melbourne SE & Bayside)

Bright Spark Recruitment is seeking Casual Relief and Fixed-Term/Ongoing Teachers for 2026 on behalf of several Christian Independent schools in Melbourne’s south-east and bayside regions. These roles suit educators who are passionate about delivering high-quality, Christ-centred education within supportive, values-driven communities.

Subject Areas (Expressions of Interest)

For Fixed Term/Ongoing roles, we welcome EOIs across all learning areas, with priority interest in:

  • Year 12: Specialist Mathematics; Mathematical Methods
  • Years 7–10: Science; Mathematics; English
  • Other Areas: Vocational Major; Digital Technology; Design Technology

For Casual Roles we are seeking expressions of interest from generalist VIT-qualified teachers to work within the Christian independent school sector.

We Are Seeking Educators Who:

  • Foster engaging, inclusive and innovative learning environments
  • Inspire students through energetic, compassionate teaching
  • Contribute to a collaborative staff culture committed to continuous improvement
  • Model and support the Christian ethos of the school

You Bring:

  • VIT registration (full or provisional) essential; current CRTs welcome
  • Demonstrated alignment with and support for Christian education
  • Strong subject knowledge and contemporary pedagogy for Years 7–12
  • Excellent classroom management, communication and teamwork
  • A child-safety mindset and familiarity with the Victorian Child Safe Standards
  • (Desirable) Current First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma training; experience with evidence-informed practice and data-driven differentiation
